MASAMI was founded by James Hammett, a beauty industry maven with 25+ years of experience, and Lynn Power, a longtime ad agency executive with a love for beauty. Previously, both co-founders have worked on major brands, such as Gillette Venus, Clinique and L'Oréal. In 2010, James decided to help models frustrated by the damage continuously done to their hair.
